SPX Inflation Analysis · October 2026 · Mixed flows · supply roughly steady
SPX6900 (SPX) has a supply that cannot grow. The Ethereum contract fixes it at 1B SPX, of which 930.99M SPX circulate and the rest sits in a dead address. In the 90 days to Oct 18 2026 the MrNasDog Pressure Framework counts 0 SPX of new supply against 5,722 SPX burned by fan-built apps, a net change of −0.0006%; the monitor reads −0.17%. With no mint, no vesting and no team, the only thing that moves SPX supply is coins sent to a dead address.
The verdict, in one paragraph
Over the last 90 days SPX supply shrank by −0.0006% of the 930.99M SPX float, and for the next 90 days we project 0.00%. The monitor, which reads supply from market data, shows −0.17% over the same 90 days. The gap is 0.17 percentage points, inside our 0.5-point limit, so no warning chip is shown: the small difference comes from day-to-day noise in a supply figure that is worked out from price and market value. SPX6900 is a fixed-supply meme coin with a tiny voluntary burn.
Sell pressure: where new SPX comes from
Protocol inflation is 0 SPX, and it can never be anything else. The SPX6900 contract on Ethereum reports a total supply of 1B as a fixed number written into its code, it has no mint function, no upgrade path, and its owner gave up control in 2023. We read the contract code ourselves this session and found no way to create a single new SPX.
Vesting unlocks are 0 SPX. SPX6900 launched in August 2023 with no team, investor or advisor share: all 1B coins went to the creator, who put them into the trading pool and sent 68.78M SPX to a dead address. The creator’s wallet holds 0 SPX today, so there is nothing left to unlock.
Foundation and unscheduled unlocks are 0 SPX, because SPX has no foundation, no treasury and no DAO. Long-term locked or bankruptcy supply is also 0 SPX: no estate or trustee holds SPX, and the launch pool, whose ownership is locked until 2092, holds 14.68M SPX that already count as circulating.
Buy pressure: where new SPX goes
The only buy-side flow is burning by apps that fans built around SPX6900. A token launchpad destroys all the SPX it earns in pool fees, and an auto-buy app burns a small fee once a month. Together they sent 5,722 SPX to a dead address in the 90 days to Oct 18 2026. We checked it two ways: the dead address balance rose by exactly that amount, and the list of transfers into it adds up to the same figure. But 5,557 SPX of it came in the launchpad’s first week in late July, and only 0.75 SPX arrived in the last 30 days, so with no schedule behind it we project 0 SPX for the next 90 days.
There is no programmatic buyback, because SPX6900 has no income to spend. There is no protocol fee burn: the token charges no fee on trades, and with no owner nobody can turn one on. There is no foundation buy, since no foundation exists, and no new long-term lock, since SPX has no staking. Coins moved to Solana, Base or BNB Chain stay counted as circulating, so bridging takes nothing out of the float.
Foundation and overhang
SPX6900 has almost no team-controlled overhang. The one balance a single person can move is 63.78K SPX sitting inside the token contract itself, made up of old launch taxes and coins people sent there by mistake; the creator’s wallet can sell it. The bridge lock that backs SPX on other chains holds 109.61M SPX, matched by 83.37M SPX on Solana, 26.15M SPX on Base and a few thousand on BNB Chain, so those copies are counted once. A separate link to Avalanche backs 60.91K SPX exactly. All of these coins are already part of the 930.99M float, so a sale adds no new supply. We read these balances from the chain at every rebuild. If the token contract’s balance falls between refreshes, the outflow enters Sell #3 at the next refresh.
How SPX compares to other meme coins
Among meme coins, SPX6900 sits with the fixed-supply group. Like PEPE, its whole supply was minted on day one with no way to add more, and the only supply change left is coins being burned. That puts it far from DOGE, which pays miners new coins every block with no cap, and from newer celebrity or launchpad meme coins that keep large insider allocations on a vesting calendar, where unlocks add supply every month.
SPX6900 also differs from meme coins with a built-in burn. Coins like SHIB route part of their own network fees into burns, while SPX6900 has no fee at all; its burns come only from outside apps and stop when their trading stops. That makes SPX supply almost perfectly flat: no new coins in, very few coins out.
The flip side is that nothing in SPX6900’s design creates steady buying either. There is no buyback, no revenue and no staking lock, so price rests on people choosing to buy and hold, with whales and exchanges moving coins inside the float.
What to watch in the next 90 days
First, the dead address. Any new app that burns SPX, or a revival of the launchpad that burned 5,557 SPX in one week of July 2026, would show up there and move the buy side.
Second, the auto-buy app’s monthly burns, due about every 30 days, near Oct 31 2026, Nov 30 2026 and Dec 30 2026. Each one has been under 1 SPX, too small to change the reading unless the app grows.
Third, the 63.78K SPX inside the token contract and the 109.61M SPX bridge lock. A sale from the first or a mismatch in the second would change the overhang picture.
Fourth, new exchange listings. They move SPX between holders but add no supply, since every coin is already circulating.
Summary
SPX6900 (SPX) is a fixed-supply meme coin: the Ethereum contract caps it at 1B, no one can mint more, and there is no team share, treasury or vesting left. In the 90 days to Oct 18 2026, supply shrank by −0.0006% as fan-built apps burned 5,722 SPX, and we project 0.00% for the next 90 days. The supply side carries almost no risk; the risk is on the demand side, because nothing in the design buys SPX back. The ceiling is permanent: 930.99M SPX in circulation can only fall from here.
