RENDER Inflation Analysis · October 2026 · Mixed flows · supply roughly steady
RENDER supply is roughly steady, growing slowly. Between Jul 23 and Oct 21 2026 about 2.23M RENDER reached the market from the Render Network’s monthly mint and the Render Network Foundation’s emission reserve, while paid rendering and AI jobs burned 456,264 RENDER. That leaves supply up +0.34% in 90 days, with about +0.10% expected over the next 90. RENDER has no vesting calendar; its new supply comes from a yearly network budget of about 5.9M RENDER, and its only removal is the job burn.
The verdict, in one paragraph
Render Network’s burn-and-mint design added 2.23M RENDER to the market and destroyed 456,264 RENDER over the last 90 days, a net of +0.34% of the 518.78M RENDER counted as circulating. For the next 90 days we expect about 0.98M RENDER in and the same 456,264 burned, or about +0.10%. Trackers that only follow the old Ethereum RNDR token show about −0.13%, because the monthly mint and the burn both happen on Solana, where that figure does not look. The two readings differ by 0.48 points, and that difference is the Solana activity those trackers miss. In one line: RENDER is a usage-burn token whose burn covers about a fifth of its new supply today, and nearly half of the next quarter’s.
Sell pressure: where new RENDER comes from
The first source is the protocol mint. Under the burn-and-mint rules the community approved, Year 3 of network rewards runs from Dec 20 2025 to Dec 19 2026 with a budget of about 5.9M RENDER, minted once a month as 492,132 RENDER. Of each monthly mint, 60,000 RENDER goes straight to the wallet that pays node operators, and 432,132 RENDER goes into a Foundation reserve. The node-operator share reached the market three times in the window, on Jul 23, Aug 23 and Sep 23 2026, for 180,000 RENDER.
Vesting adds nothing. RENDER has no team or investor unlock calendar, and the original RNDR supply has been tradable for years, so the vesting row is 0.
The largest source is the Foundation’s emission reserve. It paid out 2.05M RENDER in the window: 1M RENDER on Aug 10 2026, 250,000 on Aug 27 2026, and 800,000 on Oct 12 2026, to the Foundation’s operating and payments wallets, which fund grants, rewards and running costs. These payouts come every two to three months; the last four were on Feb 26, May 11, Aug 10 and Oct 12 2026. That puts the next one around mid-December to mid-January, so we count one more payout of about 800,000 RENDER in the next 90 days.
No bankruptcy estate or court-held stock of RENDER exists, so the long-term-locked row is 0. The coins that sit in the upgrade escrow only replace old Ethereum RNDR as holders move to Solana, one for one, so they add no supply.
Buy pressure: where new RENDER goes
Render Network has one way to take RENDER out: the job burn. Artists and AI users price their rendering and compute jobs in dollars, and RENDER worth that amount is burned. Between Jul 23 and Oct 21 2026 the network’s two burn wallets destroyed 456,264 RENDER, about 5,070 a day. The pace climbed through the window: the first 20 days of October burned about 210,000 RENDER, more than twice all of August, and the week to Oct 21 2026 was the largest burn week on record at about 155,800 RENDER.
There is no separate programmatic buyback, so that row is 0. The burn wallet does receive RENDER to destroy for each job, and about 650,000 of the RENDER it received in the window came from a Foundation wallet; we count those coins once, as burned. The Foundation does not buy RENDER for itself, so the Foundation-buy row is 0. RENDER has no staking lock, so the new-lock row is 0 as well. For the next 90 days we hold the burn at the same 456,264 RENDER, though the October pace runs well above that.
Foundation and overhang
The emission reserve is the overhang that matters most. It held 2.2M RENDER on Oct 21 2026, down from about 2.95M on Jul 23, and it gains 432,132 RENDER with every monthly mint. We read its balance on-chain at every rebuild.
A partner vault linked to OTOY, the company behind the network, holds 81.9M RENDER and did not move once in the window; it already counts as circulating, so a sale would not add new supply, but it is the single largest holder and we watch it. On the old Ethereum token, one wallet of 14.76M RNDR is left out of the circulating count and sat still at both ends of the window. The Foundation’s node-reward wallet holds 840,124 RENDER and its operating wallets about 231,000 RENDER plus about $630,000 in stablecoins. The upgrade escrow holds 4.71M RENDER to swap for old RNDR.
If any of these balances falls between refreshes, the outflow enters Sell #3 at the next refresh.
How RENDER compares to other DePIN compute tokens
RENDER belongs to the burn-and-mint family of decentralized physical infrastructure (DePIN) tokens, alongside Helium’s HNT. In that design users pay in dollars, the token is burned, and suppliers are paid from a separate scheduled mint. Supply only shrinks when the burn grows bigger than the mint. RENDER is closer to that balance point than most: next quarter’s expected burn is close to half of what is expected to reach the market.
Compute tokens without a usage burn work differently. Tokens that pay GPU or storage providers with a fixed reward stream, or with staking rewards, see supply rise no matter how much the network is used, because nothing is destroyed when a customer pays. Against those, RENDER’s link between usage and supply is direct: more paid jobs mean more RENDER burned.
RENDER also has a hard ceiling. Its burn-and-mint maximum is 644.17M RENDER, and the network budget is set one year at a time by community vote, with Years 2 and 3 both at about 5.9M RENDER. That makes RENDER’s new supply small and slow, about 1% of circulating a year, compared with large unlocks or high staking rates on many newer chains.
What to watch in the next 90 days
The monthly network mint lands on Oct 23, Nov 23 and Dec 23 2026, each sending 60,000 RENDER to node operators and 432,132 RENDER into the Foundation reserve.
Year 4 of network rewards begins on Dec 20 2026, and no budget vote has been posted yet. A smaller budget would cut new supply; a bigger one would raise it.
The next payout from the Foundation reserve is likely between Dec 14 2026 and Jan 11 2027, based on the last four.
A new community proposal posted on Oct 16 2026, RNP-024, would launch Forth, an AI router that accepts RENDER payments, with up to 500,000 RENDER of usage rewards paid from existing Foundation funds. It would not raise the emission budget.
Watch the weekly burn. If the October pace of more than 50,000 RENDER a week holds, burns alone would nearly cancel the next quarter’s new supply.
Summary
Render Network (RENDER) is mildly inflationary: +0.34% over the last 90 days and about +0.10% over the next 90, as a monthly burn-and-mint budget and Foundation reserve payouts of 2.23M RENDER met a job burn of 456,264 RENDER. There is no vesting and no bankruptcy overhang; the main things to watch are the Foundation’s 2.2M RENDER reserve and the still-unset Year 4 budget. Burns are growing fast, and supply stays capped at 644.17M RENDER, so RENDER is close to the point where paid usage could make its supply shrink.
