KITE supply is growing, and the next 90 days bring the biggest step yet. Kite mints no new KITE — the cap is 10B — but locked coins come free on a fixed calendar. Ecosystem unlocks added 195.6M KITE in the last 90 days, +8.18% of the 2.39B circulating, with nothing bought back or burned. The 1-year lock on team and investor coins ends on Nov 3 2026: about 800M KITE at once, then about 66.67M a month, so the next 90 days add about 1.13B KITE, or +47.21%.
The verdict, in one paragraph
Over the 90 days to Oct 19 2026 the KITE supply on the market grew +8.18%, and for the next 90 days we project +47.21%. Market data still reads +0.00%, because the circulating figure it shows has stood at 2.39B KITE since Jul 1 2026 and does not yet include the Aug 1, Sep 1 and Oct 1 2026 ecosystem unlocks. That leaves a gap of 8.18 points, so the coin page shows a data-conflict warning next to the number. In one line: KITE is a fixed-cap token whose float is still being unlocked — no minting, but heavy scheduled supply, peaking with the Nov 3 2026 team and investor cliff.
Sell pressure: where new KITE comes from
Protocol inflation is zero. The KITE token lives on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Avalanche and HyperEVM, and the four add up to exactly 10B KITE today, the same as on Jul 21 2026. The token can only be created when it moves between those chains, where the other side is destroyed. Staking on the Kite chain pays rewards from a 50,000 KITE pot that has not paid out yet, so staking prints no new KITE either.
Vesting unlocks are the whole story: 195.6M KITE in 90 days. The ecosystem and community pool unlocks about 65.22M KITE on the 1st of every month, and three of those dates — Aug 1, Sep 1 and Oct 1 2026 — fell inside the window. The next 90 days hold three more ecosystem unlocks (Nov 1 and Dec 1 2026, Jan 1 2027) plus the end of the 1-year team and investor lock on Nov 3 2026: about 800M KITE (500M team, 300M investors), followed by about 66.67M KITE on Dec 3 2026 and again on Jan 3 2027. Together that is about 1.13B KITE. Some trackers put the Nov 3 cliff at 640M rather than 800M; we use the larger figure, which matches the plain reading of Kite’s own unlock terms.
Foundation and unscheduled unlocks add zero. Kite’s payout wallets sent out 91.6M KITE between Jul 21 and Aug 5 2026, but those were ecosystem coins that had already unlocked, so moving them adds no new supply. Nothing has left them since the August pause. Long-term locked or bankruptcy coins add zero: KITE has no bankruptcy estate, and the August 2026 attack ended with a one-for-one move to a new token contract, total unchanged.
Buy pressure: where new KITE goes
Nothing takes KITE off the market today. There is no buyback: Kite plans to turn a small fee on AI-agent payments into KITE bought on the open market, but no buyback wallet or first purchase has been shown. There is no fee burn, because fees on the Kite chain are paid in stablecoins and the burn addresses hold no KITE. No project wallet bought KITE in the window. About 12M KITE is staked by Kite chain validators, a level that did not grow, and staked coins still count as circulating. So the buy side is 0 KITE in both the last and the next 90 days.
Foundation and overhang
Most of the 10B KITE still sits in project wallets on Ethereum. The investor wallet holds exactly 1.2B KITE, the full investor share, untouched. Three tagged team wallets hold 500M, 500M and 263.2M, with the rest of the team share spread over many smaller wallets of 10M to 30M each. The modules wallet holds exactly 800M. The ecosystem wallets hold 815.8M and 227.3M, and three payout wallets hold 754M, 739.7M and 725.6M. Every one of them still holds its Aug 24 2026 balance from the token move. We read these balances on-chain at every rebuild. If any of them falls between checks, the coins that leave enter the Foundation row of the sell ledger at the next check.
How KITE compares to other AI and payment chains
KITE belongs to the fixed-cap, recently launched group: all 10B coins exist already, and the supply on the market grows only as locks end. That is the opposite of Ethereum, Solana or Avalanche, which pay validators in newly created coins every day and count the new coins as inflation forever. KITE’s inflation instead comes in steps and stops once the calendar runs out, which is late 2029 for the main pools.
Against other young tokens, KITE’s float is small: 23.91% of the cap circulates after almost a year. Many tokens that launched in 2024 and 2025 also used a 1-year cliff for team and investors, and the cliff month is usually their biggest supply event; KITE’s falls on Nov 3 2026. KITE also has no burn and no buyback yet, while chains like Ethereum (fee burn) or exchange tokens (regular buybacks) have a built-in buyer that offsets some new supply.
The long-term plan gives KITE a buyer tied to use: a small fee on each AI-agent payment swapped into KITE, and module builders locking KITE in permanent liquidity pools. Until those run at scale, the KITE supply story is set by the unlock calendar, not by usage.
What to watch in the next 90 days
Nov 3 2026 — the team and investor cliff. About 800M KITE (some trackers say 640M) stops being locked; watch the investor wallet (1.2B) and the team wallets for the first outflows to exchanges.
Nov 1 and Dec 1 2026, Jan 1 2027 — ecosystem unlocks of about 65.22M KITE each, and Dec 3 2026 and Jan 3 2027 — about 66.67M KITE each from the team and investor shares.
The payout wallets. They paid out 91.6M KITE in late July and early August 2026 and have been still since the August attack; a restart would show how fast unlocked ecosystem coins reach buyers.
A first buyback. Any sign that the fee-to-KITE swap on agent payments has started would add the first real buyer to the KITE ledger.
Summary
KITE is a fixed-cap 10B token that mints nothing, yet its circulating supply grew +8.18% in the last 90 days from monthly ecosystem unlocks, and is set to grow about +47.21% in the next 90 as the team and investor lock ends on Nov 3 2026 with about 800M KITE. Nothing on the buy side offsets it: no buyback, no burn, no new long-term lock. The key risk is that newly unlocked team and investor coins reach exchanges; the ceiling is the 10B cap, of which 23.91% circulates today.
